Hello Everyone!!!!

Jaques Drouin
He uses hand drawn animation in this.
I chose this animation because i really liked the classic style on animation. It was made in the year 1976 so it really is a vintage work of animation. I think it looks cool. It certainly shows all the hard work Jaques had to do to have this piece completed, extreme detail. The shadows were great in this video. I don't usually enjoy work that is completely black and white but for this considering there wasn't much of a choice. I think it was great.

Nicolas Brault
He used hand drawn animation in this video.
I chose this animation because I thought it was awesome. The little penguin kind of doing his thing and reacting to the fish under the ice. I like the many lines and movements that were used in this. The shadows of the creature and fish under the ice was really impressive. I also enjoyed the emotions that the penguins displayed. It was a good idea for the author to make the fish and other creature black while the rest was ether white or brown (the penguins) there was a lot of emphasis on the creatures under the ice.

"Krikonn" (youtube channel)
This was stop and go animation
I chose this animation first off because it was legos singing the song bohemian rhapsody. The rhythm and movements were really good to make lego Queen move and look like they were singing and playing the piano. I also enjoyed this animation because it reminded me of trying to make stuff with legos when I was little. The way the song Bohemian Rhapsody was awesome being a classic song and a pretty iconic one for that. The music went along great with the video. Everything including the movements were perfectly alined with the
music.

This was clay animation. It is called Secret Sniper
I picked this animation primarily because I have been familiar with this youtube series for a long time. Klay world. Despite the clay gore... I always found these videos to make me laugh pretty hard. This is a dumb reminder of the dumb stuff I would watch on youtube when I was younger. The creators did a great job of the smooth movements of the clay figures. The way they included shadows was excellent considering being clay people, I wouldn't think that shadows would be a big deal to have, but it looked good. It made it look like they were real, and actually doing the things they were doing. The humor went well. It was relatively graphic... but it is clay. I thought this video was entertaining and funny. Animator did a great job.

This was all computerized. It is called Caldera
I picked this video because I enjoyed the graphics, they were amazing. The work attracted me at first because apparently it is a "award winning" animation. Honestly I did not care for the animation it self it seemed dark and depressing. It seemed like something diresctor christopher nolan would use for a movie theme. The graphics were amazing especially when she is underwater. The way the creators were able to utilize light and shadows was very impressive. The music was sounded good and was smooth however, like the animation itself it was dark and depressing. The whole thing bummed me out. The animation of the night sky was absolutely beautiful. The movements of the sea turtle were also very realistic, the under water swimming.

Pixar Animation
Completely computerized
I picked this because I knew that pixar did have some good and even funny short films. This one for example is called "lifted". I like it very much. Pixar continues to be amazing in the way that they try to work for detail. It was awesome. Everything involved in this video was great. The movements, textures, proportion, value, and contrast are all fantastic. I can defiantly see that this company is putting their money to good use. It is an excellent short film. The personalities of the aliens was funny, made me laugh a bit. It reminded me of watching all the classic pixar movies when i was little like Cars, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo.
